SPINNER Connectors - Low-Loss And Reliable Connection For Highest Requirements
Connectors for the transmission of high-frequency signals are used in a wide variety of industries such as mobile communication, broadcast, measurement, satellite communication or in radar technology. SPINNER connectors ensure optimal, low-loss signal transmission and extremely sustainable, cost-effective connections. SPINNER connectors are robust and resistant in various climatic environments - from the sea to the desert or even space.
They guarantee excellent electrical and mechanical performance values such as stability for enduring connectivity, meeting the highest sealing requirements and high performance for transmission parameters.
SPINNER Cut and Fit (CAF®) Plast 2000 connectors for extremely harsh environmental conditions
A 7/8" EIA connector LF 1 1/4"-50 CAF® Plast2000 is available for LF cables with annular corrugated copper outer conductor and is especially well-suited for extremely harsh environmental conditions, e.g. high humidity, ice or contamination. The cable clamp is completely filled by injecting SPINNER Plast2000 sealing compound to rule out any chance of moisture, sand etc. penetrating into the connector. This prevents internal corrosion and ensures superb electrical and mechanical performance for decades. Thus we guarantee an outstanding lossless mobile communication quality in a frequency range from DC to 3.3 GHz for in-building Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) or on mobile communication base stations outdoors. In addition, a 7/8" EIA connector LF 1 1/4"-50 CAF® Plast2000 is also suitable for a variety of demanding applications in industry or broadcast (DVB, DAB, FM), SatCom or Radar.
A 7/8" EIA connector LF 1 1/4"-50 CAF® Plast2000 is ideally suited for installation on LF 1 1/4" annular corrugated copper LF cables.
The connector has a straight direction.
Coaxial flange connectors, generally known as “EIA flanges”, are connected by a coupling element. The flange connector system complies with international standards EIA STD RS-225, 339 IEC, DIN EN 122150 and MIL-F 24044. The EIA flange connectors are excellently qualified suited for pressurized systems and for outdoor installations. 7/8" EIA connectors are used to link two elements of a rigid or semi-rigid high performance coaxial transmission line for radio frequency signals. Typically, these are operated in systems for very high power transmission (from kW to MW), e.g. in DAB, DVB or FM broadcast systems or in high-energy applications in research facilities (particle accelerator, plasmatron).
