Surge Protectors protect your transmission lines

Mobile communication systems are constantly at risk of being adversely affected or damaged by overvoltages, induced DC voltages etc. Protective devices such as surge protectors are used to offset these external influences.

They have the job of safeguarding the connected system without interfering with its operation. Products from SPINNER are excellent suited for protecting mobile communication installations, due to their low PIM, attenuation and reflection.

Overvoltages are typically the result of electromagnetic induction because of events such as lightning strikes. A reliable protection against surges is given only by a proper installation and regular maintenance depending on the protector type. The maintenance intervals depend mainly upon the number and the strength of the impulse current impacts.

The Surge protector 4.3-10 female to 4.3-10 female 430-850 W 694-2700 MHz hybrid guarantees excellent, lossless mobile communication quality for use in in-building distributed antenna systems (DAS) or on mobile communication base stations outdoors.

Quarter wavelength line and gas discharge arrestor surge protector design combines the advantages of both protecting techniques (DC transmission and low intermodulation). Therefore, it is also called a hybrid design. These surge protectors are suitable for DC and low frequency (LF) transmission and can also be used to transmit control signals (e.g. according to AISG) of antenna amplifiers and/or remote-controlled antennas.

Outstanding RF characteristics, best possible passive intermodulation and VSWR

The Surge protector 4.3-10 female to 4.3-10 female 430-850 W 694-2700 MHz hybrid enables you to transmit high-frequency signals reliably and flawlessly with optimum protection of your sensitive equipment in a power range up to 850 W @ 694 MHz, 430 W @ 2700 MHz with maximum passive intermodulation (IM3) of -160 dBc.

The protection class is IP 67.

The 4.3-10 connector system was designed to meet the latest requirements in mobile communication in terms of size, robustness, performance, and other parameters. Its small footprint supports the use of smaller components, mitigates risks if equipment is assembled without due care, and delivers outstanding electrical performance.
