SPINNER Connectors - Low-Loss And Reliable Connection For Highest Requirements
Connectors for the transmission of high-frequency signals are used in a wide variety of industries such as mobile communication, broadcast, measurement, satellite communication or in radar technology. SPINNER connectors ensure optimal, low-loss signal transmission and extremely sustainable, cost-effective connections. SPINNER connectors are robust and resistant in various climatic environments - from the sea to the desert or even space.
They guarantee excellent electrical and mechanical performance values such as stability for enduring connectivity, meeting the highest sealing requirements and high performance for transmission parameters.
Spinner MultiFit® connectors for quick and secure installations
A 7-16 male connector LF 7/8"-50 Spinner MultiFit® is one of the most versatile connectors of our portfolio. It transmits signals maintenance-free and reliably for decades without additional effort. A quick and secure two-step installation can be done in about two minutes. Before mounting the Spinner MultiFit® connector an O-ring is pushed onto the outer conductor to seal it. Then the Spinner MultiFit® connector is pushed on top of it and locked onto the outer conductor. This provides an excellent seal to prevent the ingress of moisture or dust. Thus we achieve an outstanding lossless mobile communication quality in a frequency range from DC to 3.8 GHz for in-building Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) or on mobile communication base stations outdoors. In addition, a 7-16 male connector LF 7/8"-50 Spinner MultiFit® is also suitable for a variety of demanding applications in industry or broadcasting (DVB, DAB, FM), SatCom or Radar.
A 7-16 male connector LF 7/8"-50 Spinner MultiFit® is ideally suited for installation on LF 7/8" annular corrugated copper LF cables.
The connector has a straight direction.
The 7-16 connector has become the most widely used coaxial connection system for mobile communication systems, due to its excellent mechanical and electrical properties. In order to achieve the industry leading intermodulation performance SPINNER applies silver-plating on all inner and outer conductor parts of the standard connector. As a supporting measure, we use exclusively non-magnetic materials, and we have minimized the number of RF contact points. The connection is especially suited for transmitting medium or high power indoors and outdoors.
