SPINNER adapters offer outstanding electrical and mechanical properties

Adapters are used to connect transmission lines with different interface sizes (so-called inter-type or between-lines adapter) or within one size but different interface genders (so-called within-type or in-line adapter).

SPINNER high frequency adapters are optimized for quality and performance and are designed for the lowest possible reflection factors. The outstanding electrical and mechanical properties, the simple installation and the high reliability make SPINNER high-frequency adapters one of the most efficient and cost-effective transition connectors on the market. Precision adaptors with RF quality grade 0 are available upon request.

The SPINNER 3.5 mm female to RUG-1.85 mm female DC-33 GHz precision adapter is characterized by its excellent low IM values and its longevity for test and measurement laboratories. A SPINNER precision adapter increases the lifetime of the connector of the analyzer considerably and thus saves money in the long term.

Outstanding RF characteristics, best possible passive intermodulation and VSWR

A 3.5 mm female to RUG-1.85 mm female DC-33 GHz precision adapter enables you to reliably transmit radio-frequency signals in the frequency range from DC to 33 GHz.

The adaptor offers a transition from interface 3.5 mm female to interface 1.85 mm female. The connector has a straight direction.

3.5 mm coax connectors can be used up to 33 GHz and have low manufacturing tolerances. They are designed for many mating cycles It has an air dielectric interface and closely controlled center conductor support bead providing mechanical interface tolerances similar to hermaphroditic connectors. A 3.5 mm coaxial interface can be mechanically mated with 2.92 mm and SMA connectors, but the connection creates a signal reflection that must be considered.

The 1.85mm connector was first proposed and introduced in 1986 and soon used on Vector Network Analysers. The 1.85 mm coaxial connector has an air-filled dielectric interface. 1.85 mm precision connectors are particularly suitable for use in radio-frequency test and measurement laboratories for frequencies up to approx. 70 GHz. They are designed with excellent characteristics and tight tolerances over the entire specified frequency range. They are an advancement of the coaxial 2.92-mm connector size and are known as Type-V connectors.
